5 best landing spots for Dez Bryant
3. Indianapolis Colts
The Colts entire season depends on the ability to get Andrew Luck healthy. Once they get him back to 100 percent, the team’s top priority needs to be keeping him healthy for a full 16 game season.
One of the best ways the Colts can do that is by allowing Luck to get rid of the ball quickly. Signing Bryant would give him an excellent underneath target. The team signed Eric Ebron in the offseason to fill that void, but here’s no question Bryant has better hands.
That fact should be enough to get him into the lineup ahead of Ebron on most passing downs. This is also a rare team where Bryant could be good enough to earn some snaps on the outside as well. T.Y. Hilton has developed into a nice receiver, but Ryan Grant is still a significant question mark. Bryant could get playing time on the outside and inside for the Colts.
The Colts may feel like they have bigger needs, but the reality is they have needs all over the field. Giving Andrew Luck another weapon in the passing game is every bit as important as strengthening the defense. Bryant would be a welcome addition for Luck as both players try to return to Pro Bowl form of years past.
