Here’s how you can watch Designated Survivor season 2 finale live online or the old-fashioned way right on your television.

Designated Survivor’s season 2 finale episode “Run” airs tonight at 10 p.m. ET / 9 p.m. Central as the series officially says goodbye to its home on ABC. You catch tonight’s season 2 finale (no longer a series finale amidst talks) live from your laptop at ABC’s live stream or with a free seven-day trial from FuboTV.

The show was surprisingly not renewed by ABC despite lead Kiefer Sutherland feeling confident it would be in an interview with Digital Spy prior. Things were looking dire for Designated Survivor fans the last week until yesterday when eOne announced they were discussing continuing the show and in talks with Netflix according to Deadline.

This season’s finale has a distinct House of Cards feel to it with President Kirkman on the brink of losing his seat in The Oval Office. Will he decide to willingly resign with Ethan West about to attempt to bring/slander his family’s name into the ground. President Kirkman made it clear last episode he was unsure if he was going to run a second term but would remain an independent either way. He held his position firm despite recruitment overtures from the Democratic and Republic parties for the next election.

Now the Republican party has former President/Secretary of State Cornelius Moss to run against him next election. Any leak accusation by President Kirkman towards moss will now be met with the perception of a political move rather than the truth.

Last episode of Designated Survivor ended with Emily Rhodes apartment being targeted by a sniper as she was on the phone. Kendra Daynes tried to warn her in time but it was already too late. Did Rhodes make it unscathed?

This week a natural disaster also places Lyor Boone’s life in danger (judging by promo photos) as locals run. President Kirkman is being separated by his White House staffers left and right… All in the time they matter most, the Presidency on the line. What approach will he take to Ethan West’s accusations? We’ll find out on tonight’s season 2 finale!
