The Final Four in the Euroleague is a little bit different. Instead of a best of five series, you get one shot at your opponent to advance to Monday’s Championship Game.
We have a lot less players to choose from with only four teams in action. The value picks are going to be all the more important.
The cash line in the EuroLeague is usually right around 150 DraftKings points. It’s become higher than that in the playoffs because the stars usually play more minutes. Of course, it’s the EuroLeauge. The rotations often resemble those of the Spurs or the Suns. They can get crazy sometimes.

Guards:
I don’t trust Luka Doncic to play enough to hit value, and I don’t expect a lot form Sergio Rodriguez. Sergio only had 36.75 DraftKings points in two meetings with Real Madrid this season. Kevin Pangos is easily the safest top option. Kostas Sloukas is a solid option to build around at guard as well.
Cory Higgins was much better against Real Madrid than Rodriguez was during the regular season. If you trust that trend to hold true, Higgins is a very solid pick. However, the return of Nando de Colo could cut into his minutes. Brad Wanamaker didn’t have a great series against Baskonia, but he picked up 47 DraftKings points in the two games against Zalgiris during the regular season.
The Final Four seems like the place for Sergio Llull to take over. He missed most of the regular season this year, but he looked good when he played against Athens. I look for Llull to put up some pretty big numbers for Real Madrid, but there is some risk here.
Vasilije Micic had a nice series against Olympiacos, and he put up 39 DraftKings points against Fenerbahce this season. Micic is a great mid range pick.
Marko Guduric was huge for Fenerbahce in the last two games of the Baskonia series. If he can keep that up, Guduric is a great value pick. There is no one else in this tier that I trust. With Facundo Campazzo available, the minutes for Carroll are going to be few and far between.
Forwards:
Jan Vesely had a very good series against Baskonia, and put up 56.25 DraftKings points against Zalgiris this season. Vesely is easily the safest pick to anchor your frontcourt. Will Clyburn did play well against Real Madrid this season, but he has been less consistent than Vesely. Gustavo Ayon may have the highest upside of the three, but he is easily the least consistent.
Brandon Davies was the best player Zalgiris had in the opening round against Olympiacos. Will he keep that up against Fenerbahce? Paulius Jankunas performed better than Davies against them in the regular season.
I don’t trust Othello Hunter, so if I go for a mid-range center, it will be Trey Thompkins. Nicolo Melli put up 43 DraftKings points on Zalgiris in the regular season, and looks primed for a nice night here after the series he had against Baskonia.
Nikita Kurbanov had two good games against Khimki to close out that series. He looks to be one of the better value picks in this tier. There isn’t much down here with teams tightening the rotations a bit in the playoffs. Nikola Kalinic had a big game in 25 minutes in the clincher against Baskonia. Will that carry over?
