It’s time to throw away what you know about Westworld as the series enters the mysterious Shogun World for the first time.

One of the facets of the original Westworld movie that fans have been curious about from the start when it comes to the HBO series is that Delos had multiple parks. While the creators insisted that they wouldn’t be the same on TV, a Japanese-themed land with the initials ‘SG’ was teased in the season 1 finale, and we’ve subsequently learned that Shogun World is one of the six parks owned by Delos. In this week’s new episode, “Akane No Mai,” we go into Shogun World for the first time, a visit that has become highly anticipated.

The impetus for the trip is Maeve Millay and her companions both willing (Hector) and not so much (Lee Sizemore) searching for Maeve’s daughter. While the boundaries between parks have begun bleeding anyway, it appears Maeve’s group will have no choice but to ignore them altogether if they want to find the girl she’s been desperately seeking since last season.

The problem will be that Shogun World is a place with different customs and rules than Westworld, and figuring that out should be all the more difficult since the hosts there aren’t acting 100 percent as they should be either. The Westworld showrunners have hinted that the familiar characters might be drawn into the loops of the beings acting them out in the ancient Japan setting even though they know that’s all they are, which should make for a very interesting hour.

With that in mind, you won’t want to miss “Akane No Mai,” and here’s the information you need to ensure that you don’t:
