How long will you have to wait for The Flash season 4 to show up on Netflix? Not long, as it turns out.

If you can’t wait to revisit The Flash season 4 on Netflix to take in the entire struggle against the Thinker, you’re in luck.

It used to be that any season of a DCTV Arrowverse show would take months before arriving on Netflix. In fact, it wasn’t uncommon for them to join the streaming library right when the next season was about to kick off in the fall.

Fortunately, that’s no longer the case. The CW’s shows generally make their way to Netflix eight days after the current season has included, and that’s the case for The Flash season 4 as well. Expect to see it as a streaming option as of Wednesday, May 30.

If you’re planning a summer rewatch, which makes perfect sense giving the timing of the release date, one of the things you might want to examine under more of a microscope is any time the Mystery Girl shows up — four different episodes in all. Though her true identity was revealed in the season 4 finale, one of the show’s EPs says you can read more into her motivations by watching every appearance and taking note of the way she interacts with various characters. She knows things the other characters don’t, and those interactions might give you some hints as to what those might be.

As well, it will be fun to go back and revisit one of the major subplots of the season, which was the ever-shifting relationship between the Thinker and his wife. Without spoiling The Flash season 4 finale for those who haven’t seen it yet, that storyline plays out all the way to the very end of the final hour.

In any case, you’ll be able to watch The Flash season 4 before the end of May and then use it any way you want to get through the long Flash-less summer. You’re welcome.
