Wondering if there is a post-credits scene in Solo: A Star Wars Story? Don’t worry! We’ve got you covered.

Solo: A Star Wars Story hits theaters on May 25 and brings with it all the hype of any addition to the Star Wars Universe.

Reviews have been mixed, but overall relatively positive despite several questions popping up during production.

But is there a post-credits scene in Solo: A Star Wars Story?

The quick and easy answer is no.

This question comes up with every big film now that Marvel has cornered the market on post-credits –- and mid-credits — scenes. In fact, it has become such a regularity that the lack of a mid-credits scene in Avengers: Infinity War in lieu of a cool Infinity War logo fading out with soft piano was somewhat disappointing.

But Star Wars is not Marvel, even if they are both now owned by Disney. There were no post-credits scenes in any of the other Star Wars films, and there likely will not be in this one either.

The Marvel effect is interesting, however, as staying to the end of the credits has quickly become a movie-going tradition that many did not have before.

I, for one, never stayed until after the credits in a film before Marvel began doing the post-credits and mid-credits scenes, and now I do it for every movie. A lot of people worked really hard on making the film, and it only feels right to see their names scroll down the screen for an extra ten or so minutes after the film.
