Warriors-Rockets (Series Tied 3-3)

With only one game on the schedule, your top DraftKings option is Showdown. If you’re unfamiliar with Showdown, it’s a one game league where you have six spots, positions don’t matter, salaries are inflated from your typical leagues, and you have to select at least one player from each team.

So much depends on Chris Paul ($8,800). He’s listed as questionable and will be a game-time decision. If he plays, he’s at a low enough salary to where he’s worth the risk, even though his effectiveness is in question with the hamstring injury. If he doesn’t play, James Harden ($14,500) will need another monster game if the Rockets hope to pull off the upset.

Steph Curry ($13,700) is my favorite play of the bunch. He’ll get his points and he chips in with rebounds and assists. It’s doubtful he’ll be credited with three blocks again, but he’ll come up with steals. And if Paul doesn’t play or his limited, he won’t have to work as hard on both ends.

Kevin Durant ($13,400) is reliable enough for around 40 fantasy points. But he may not get as friendly of a whistle in Houston. And since most of his value is coming from points right now, Draymond Green ($12,200) offers better value. He puts up numbers in all categories and lives for these moments.

Eric Gordon’s ($11,000) value really depends on Paul’s status. He’ll get more opportunities as the starter, but he finds better matchups coming off the bench. He’s had his best games at home, but this salary is way too high if Paul ends up playing. You’re better off taking the risk with Paul than trusting Gordon given the salary difference.

Klay Thompson ($10,700) went off in Game 6 and has shot the ball very well in the last two games. There’s always a small risk with Thompson that his shot isn’t falling, but you know he’ll get those opportunities.

Clint Capela ($9,200) wasn’t used as much as I thought he would be with Paul out. That’s worrisome heading into Game 7. The rebounds will be there, but he needs to be more involved in the offense. He should get you around 30 fantasy points and if Paul doesn’t play, has a higher ceiling, especially at home.

P.J. Tucker ($7,600) and Trevor Ariza ($6,400) offered the same value in Game 6. Tucker has been better all series, but Ariza may offer more value if Paul doesn’t play. That’s due to the amount of shots Ariza gets without Paul on the floor compared to Tucker, who is going to get the same offensive chances either way. Gerald Green ($5,000) is another guy who will get shots, even if Paul is healthy.

Kevon Looney ($4,100) and Andre Iguodala ($3,500) are both game-time decisions. If Iguodala plays, take him at this salary. If neither guy can go, Jordan Bell ($3,000) is worth a low salary pick up.
