8. Teemu Selanne loves his scotch

Teemu Selanne a.k.a. the Finnish Flash is widely regarded as one of the greatest and nicest hockey players to ever play the game. He had a perfect mix of speed and skill to make him one of the greats.

In 2007, when he won a Stanley Cup with the Anaheim Ducks, he also showed how much he loves a good scotch.

The keeper of the Cup at the time was Mike Bolt, who claimed in an interview that Selanne and his friends were among the top drinkers to ever pour their drinks into the Cup. Instead of the usual beer and champagne, they chose to drink scotch out of the trophy. Not exactly the most efficient whiskey glass, but fun nonetheless.

According to Bolt, Selanne and 10 of his friends drank upwards of 12 bottles of scotch from the Cup that night. Yikes. That would not be a fun hangover.

Selanne earned it, though. He is regarded as both one of, if not the, greatest Winnipeg Jets and Anaheim Ducks of all time. He owns a plethora of records for both Winnipeg and Anaheim and is beloved by both fan bases.

Selanne is a class act, and a class act should drink like one. Scotch from the Cup is about as classy as it gets.
