The Cleveland Cavaliers’ LeBron James doesn’t exactly get the memo as he sports shorts with his suit ahead of Game 1.

Over the last 48 hours, much of the talk around the NBA has been centered around burner accounts and the NBA Finals. But today, LeBron James is stealing headlines with his unique fashion in Game 1.

James rolled up to Oracle Arena wearing the same matching suit as the rest of the team, as the Cavaliers have done throughout the postseason. He looked the same, but incredibly different at the same time. James strutted onto the scene wearing a suit with shorts.

The length of the pants differs with every player in these suits, which look incredibly odd. None of those hems, though, are as short as James’.

James has always had a unique fashion sense. While it isn’t as flashy as the likes of other NBA players — like Russell Westbrook — James has a classy fashion sense all his own.  The King bought matching suits for his Cavs teammates before the playoffs, which they’ve worn numerous times.

Usually, James expresses his fashion sense through his one-of-a-kind sneakers. But tonight, he decided to sport a different look. In addition, he rolled up with sunglasses on and a purse in hand.

The Cavaliers are preparing to take on the Golden State Warriors for a fourth consecutive year in the Finals. Much like previous years, the Cavs head into the series as heavy underdogs. James has carried this team throughout the postseason, so it’s easy to see why they’re underdogs going up against four All-Stars.

It seems unlikely Cleveland will find a way to slay the dragon, but maybe this is James’ way of changing things up. After all, the suits haven’t been too kind to Cleveland thus far.
