New Orleans Saints — K.J. Wright

If the Seahawks go blow-up mode, some talented players could wind up on the market. Wright, perpetually underrated as a speedy coverage linebacker who can also play the run, would be one such player.

New Orleans will have to make some moves to create enough space to sign him, but the Saints can save $9.6 million by cutting Andrus Peat who is somehow their fifth-highest paid player. After nailing the 2017 draft, one of the only flaws left on this roster blares at linebacker. Demario Davis and Wright would pair together as an athletic duo who could get sideline-to-sideline.

Adding an impact player at linebacker would give the Saints a blue chip player at every level of their defense, helping keep this last window open for Drew Brees and Sean Payton as Brees’ career comes to a close.
