Does the Tricky Triangle also have to make things tricky for your FanDuel fantasy NASCAR lineup advice? Not with our picks and guidance, hopefully.

The first of two trips to Pocono Raceway mean that the summer racing season is officially underway. The Pocono 400 is set to drop the green on Sunday afternoon, meaning it’s time to get your FanDuel fantasy NASCAR picks locked in.

Once again, the top two drivers look like they’re in fine form, with Kevin Harvick and Kyle Busch both qualifying in the top five and Busch also leading the way in the final practice session. Picking the right one of those two drivers has often been the key upon which a great lineup can be built, and that could very well be the case once again this time out.

Of course, Pocono also produces its share of first-time winners and mild surprises, and it definitely lends itself to fuel mileage gambles that can shake things up and leave DFS players shaking their heads. That could make things interesting even if the race itself gets strung out and uneventful, which sometimes is the case in the Pennsylvania mountains.

But that’s what we’re here to help you with, as always. Before we do, our usual disclaimer: Just like in other FanSided.com DFS articles, we’re not going to give you a copy/paste lineup, though we will give you a sample lineup with picks that we feel good about that fits under the salary threshold.

Premium drivers (salary above $10,500)

Kevin Harvick ($13,500) – You might be surprised to learn that Happy has never won a Cup Series race at Pocono, but, um, he’s pretty good here, finishing second here both races last season. The question would be if that’s good enough for this salary, as you really want him to be leading laps and winning. He’s starting second, so if he can get out in front early, it might be a long day for everyone else.

Kyle Busch ($12,000) – Like Harvick, Rowdy has never won the Pocono 400, but he did win the July race in 2017. He’s arguably hotter than Harvick to boot, just blew the field away in the XFINITY Series race even with restrictor plates on the cars and his luck just seems better. Tough to stay away from, frankly.

Brad Keselowski ($11,000) – If you’re going for a very contrarian lineup avoiding the Big Two or trying to find someone in the top tier to pair with them, Brad K. is your guy. He’s a top-five machine at the Tricky Triangle, and his FanDuel price is pretty nice. He even has some positional upside since he’s starting 17th.

Joey Logano ($10,700) – Keselowski’s Team Penske teammate has been more up and down at Pocono, though for whatever reason, it’s the July race where he usually struggles. Somewhat quietly third in average FanDuel fantasy points per race behind you know who.
