The WWE is clearly committed to turning Roman Reigns into a superstar. To do that, they need to put him into one of these five feuds.

The WWE very obviously has a Roman Reigns problem. Ownership is determined to push him as the top guy in the company. Unfortunately, the vast majority of fans have already decided they hate him. WWE has to fix that soon if they don’t want him to be a heel forever.

For the record, Reigns becoming a heel isn’t a bad idea. The WWE is understandably concerned about how that might impact merchandise sales, but that’s a short-term issue. For the long haul, they just need Reigns to be interesting. It’s less important whether that interest is achieved as a face or heel.

To get fans interested again, they’re going to need to put Reigns in a captivating feud. Matching him up with one of these five superstars would be a great way to maximize Reigns’ impact on RAW.

5. Kevin Owens

Reigns vs. Owens isn’t necessarily a new idea, but it’s one that still works for fans. If WWE management is still obsessed with the idea of putting Reigns over as a face, he’ll need a top heel to do the job.

Owens is arguably the top heel in the company. He can get on the mic and enrage audiences with his arrogance. In sharp contrast to Reigns, Owens does that on purpose.

Pitting the duo of Owens and Sami Zayn against Reigns would be an interesting storyline. It could even continue this silly idea of Reigns railing against the authority of WWE management if they threw Stephanie McMahon behind the Canadian duo.

Pitting Reigns against Owens also would give him a chance to participate in long, high-level matches. That’s really the only way he can win over the fans. Until Reigns is seen as a top worker in the ring, he’s going to be written off by a lot of fans.
