The MLB Draft is tonight, finally, but how can you watch and where will all of the action go down?

After months of speculation about which top baseball prospect will be the next big name in the Majors, we’re going to be able to watch that journey start. As we’ve seen in the past, there’s no guarantee that a top talent will ever make it in the Majors, but recent history has suggested that teams getting smarter about who they pick has so far been working out.

The MLB Draft will last over the course of this week, but the talent that could have the most immediate impact will be selected on Monday. Here’s everything you need to know so that you can make sure you enjoy yourself:

Draft Order

1. Detroit Tigers
2. San Francisco Giants
3. Philadelphia Phillies
4. Chicago White Sox
5. Cincinnati Reds
6. New York Mets
7. San Diego Padres
8. Atlanta Braves
9. Oakland Athletics
10. Pittsburgh Pirates
11. Baltimore Orioles
12. Toronto Blue Jays
13. Miami Marlins
14. Seattle Mariners
15. Texas Rangers
16. Tampa Bay Rays

18. Kansas City Royals
19. St. Louis Cardinals
20. Minnesota Twins
21. Milwaukee Brewers
22. Colorado Rockies
23. New York Yankees
24. Chicago Cubs
25. Arizona Diamondbacks
26. Boston Red Sox

28. Houston Astros
29. Cleveland Indians
30. Los Angeles Dodgers

Who is going to go first?

If you’re trying to cram and learn about all the prospects, the biggest name to know is Casey Mize. He’s the consensus No. 1 pick and is expected to be the top pick by the Tigers. If he falls — which would be a big deal — he’s not expected to last longer than the Top-3.

Joey Bart and Nick Madrigal are the other big names to know. Both are considered to be MLB-ready prospects or at least be there within the next year. Experts are pegging them to be the only sure-fire above replacement level talents in the draft, but that doesn’t mean they’re guaranteed to be the next picks after Mize.

Beyond that, it’s going to be all about prep guys and a handful of college prospects. Some big arms are coming out of Florida, as the Gators could have as many as three players taken in the Top-20. Prep bats are a little sparse, but there will be plenty of young talent taken that you’ll want to familiarize yourself with.

How and where to watch online

The draft is going to be aired on television, but you’ll need to have MLB Network in order to view it. If that’s not the case, it’ll be streamed online all week long. Only the first two rounds are going to happen on Monday night, but there’s a boatload to come over the next few days.

From a purely casual standpoint, the most interesting night of the draft will be tonight.

Rounds: 1-2

When: Monday, June 4, 7:00 PM ET.

Watch: MLB Network
