HITMAN 2 officially announced, Agent 47 returns on Nov. 13, 2018

Warner Bros. Interactive and IO Interactive officially announced Agent 47’s imminent return, with HITMAN 2 arriving this November 13.

HITMAN 2’s silent assassin, or not so silent, depending on how you play, is arriving on PlayStation 4/PlayStation 4 Pro, Xbox One/Xbox One X, and PC this fall. It’s been two years since the series moved into an episodic format with a grand return featuring absolutely spectacular visuals and unparalleled realism. The vistas seen in the Sapienza, Italy episode alone were one of those wow moments where you truly realized next-gen is reality, not to mention the unreal amount of characters on-screen in the Paris “Showstopper” episode featuring a fashion show. Truly a sight to behold for longtime fans of the series.

This time around, HITMAN 2 is evolving the franchise even further with a series’ first co-op experience. The Sniper Assassin mode will allow two players to work together online to take out their target. Don’t fret, single-player fans, as the Sniper Assassin mode will also be available to play as single player only for those looking for total Agent 47 immersion. Sniper Assassin is available to play now as an early access bonus for fans who pre-order the HITMAN 2 Standard, Silver, Gold or Collector’s Edition.

HITMAN 2 will see Agent 47 on a mission to track down the elusive Shadow Client and finally unravel his militia, but a wrench is thrown into the plan when Agent 47 discovers the truth of his past, changing his life irrevocably forever. Miami has already been announced as a locale for the sequel that will see everything from sun-kissed streets to vibrant rainforests.
