Here’s how you can watch The Crossing’s season 1 finale double-header live online or the old-fashioned way right on your television.

The Crossing airs its season 1 finale tonight with a double-header starting at 8 p.m. ET / 7 p.m. Central on ABC. You can catch the action live along with Sheriff Jude Ellis right from your laptop in the live stream over at ABC.com. While there hasn’t been news of another network or streaming service picking up the series for a season 2, a ratings pop tonight could change all of that.

Last week’s episode earned 2.92 million viewers according to TVByTheNumbers, up from the prior episode’s 2.53. There’s untapped potential there, it will be interesting to see how the show does on a non-regular night airing at primetime tonight. For a two hour block from 8-10 p.m. ET, The Crossing will take over ABC. The show will have its turn in the spotlight to impress for the future. Even if the series is not picked up for a season 2, the season finale establishes a showpiece for all cast and crew involved for new projects ahead.

Tonight’s season 1 finale episode “These Are the Names” is co-written by The Crossing’s co-creators Dan Dworkin & Jay Beattie. They also co-wrote the pilot and second episode of the season.

History will be rewritten is the tagline of The Crossing’s season 1 finale promo trailer. We end on the spoken, ominous line of “The future holds wonderful things.” We see Sheriff Jude looking in shock at potential peril as the familiar series logo displays on screen.
