1. Scott Foster

The ultimate cover and NHL 19 representative would be the greatest goaltender to ever play the game (0.00 goals against average, 1.000 save percentage, undefeated), Scott Foster.

The accountant from Chicago became a folk NHL hero after stepping in and locking down the pipes in a rare Chicago win over one of the league’s top team’s.

The Chicago Blackhawks back-up’s, back-up’s back-up was forced to leave the beer league behind and suit up for the big club for just over 14 minutes last March. He was perfect, stopping all seven shots he faced in what was the 2017-18 season’s most incredibly clutch performance.

The Blackhawks weren’t much better than Foster’s beer league team this season, but the team he faced for nearly a period had the NHL’s most potent offense. The Winnipeg Jets are packed with goal scorers, none of whomst could beat Foster.

Foster showed a mix of confidence, skill and poise in a very difficult situation that makes him the perfect candidate for the NHL 19 cover. Not to mention, those black pads would really pop on the game’s white background.

If EA isn’t willing to compromise on this, I will personally take in all of your games and glue Foster pictures on to them. But I have a feeling that after the fine folks there read this, they’ll be convinced, as well.
