Here’s how to watch Nintendo’s 2018 E3 Direct live stream featuring Super Smash Bros., Splatoon 2: Octo Expansion, Mario Tennis Aces, Fortnite and more.

Nintendo’s 2018 E3 Direct will broadcast its live stream on June 12 at 9:00 a.m. PT / 12:00 p.m. ET and you can watch on Nintendo.com, YouTube, and Twitch. Featured titles include Super Smash Bros. arrival on the Nintendo Switch, Splatoon 2’s highly anticipated Octo Expansion, Mario Tennis Aces (launches June 22), Fortnite for the Switch eShop (according to leaks), Yoshi / Fire Emblem (both announced last year), Luigi’s Mansion Remake (3DS), Captain Toad: Treasure Tracker (Switch/3DS), WarioWare Gold (3DS), and many more.

We might learn more about Metroid Prime 4, developer wise (Retro Studios back?) and hopefully see a gameplay trailer. Speaking of Metroid Prime, GameCube nostalgia is in full effect with the GameCube’s launch game Luigi’s Mansion remake arriving on the 3DS. There was some worry among Nintendo fans that with the Switch’s portability, the 3DS/2DS line would be faded out gradually but clearly that’s not the case. 3DS/2DS fans have Luigi’s Mansion, WarioWare Gold, Captain Toad: Treasure Tracker, and Mario & Luigi: Bowser’s Inside Story: Bowser Jr.’s Journey expansion to look forward to.

There’s speculation we might hear news about Mother 3 (Earthbound) in the pipeline. There’s likely to be more remastered editions of Wii U favorites, perhaps Super Mario Maker or Super Mario 3D World is next. A whole generation of Switch users missed a hefty amount of top notch quality releases on the Wii U and Nintendo is gonna make sure those titles get their due time in the spotlight. While we’re on the subject of nostalgia, is there a chance the rumored Nintendo 64 mini will be announced? You just know it would sell out in less than a minute at all major retailers… Would Rare games like Diddy Kong Racing be included?

What of third party releases like Dragon Quest 11, will we get a release date? There will likely be more insight into Nintendo’s upcoming online service with Super Smash Bros. release and Splatoon 2’s already monumental success. Splatoon 2 is a top Switch system seller, and one of Nintendo’s biggest and most awesome original IPs to date. You can be certain tons of fans tuning into Nintendo’s E3 Direct tomorrow will be doing so just to see more from the Octo Expansion.

It’s a pretty good bet we’ll be seeing some new amiibos announced among all these titles. After all, Super Smash Bros. on Wii U started off the whole trend and fans reacted in kind… By ordering every one in existence for their collections. Even third parties have been getting into the amiibo action with Dark Souls receiving its own GameStop exclusive recently.
