Where should LeBron James go if he want to win?
By Keith Parish
With the Warriors sweeping the Cavaliers for their third title in four years, the NBA season finally concluded. Now comes the fun stuff! The draft, Summer League and free agency offer every franchise with at least a hint of optimism and provide endless possibilities for the future of the NBA.
So with one eye on that optimism and with another on how LeBron’s next decision can hold the entire league hostage, Dave DuFour (@davedufourNBA) and Mo Dakhil (MoDakhil_NBA) join the newest episode of Fastbreak Breakfast to talk it over. Dave is contributor at BBallBreakdown and host of the On the NBA podcast while Mo is a former video coordinator for the Clippers and Spurs and hosts The Jump Ball podcast.
Among the topics they discuss (in addition to the entire future of the league):
- Kevin Durant was named Finals NBA by a 7 to 4 vote. Is there any argument that Steph Curry was more deserving, despite his shooting woes in Game 3?
- Despite not having a general manager, the Pistons finally got a coach by hiring Dwane Casey. Does Detroit have an opportunity to break out of their cycle of mediocrity?
- What landing spot for LeBron would be the most entertaining? What team should he join if winning is the most important goal?
- What are the most intriguing reported rumors so far in the lead up to the NBA Draft?
