The brand new Madden 19 trailer is a must-watch, featuring top draft picks Baker Mayfield, Saquon Barkley, and rookie linebacker Shaquem Griffin…

Roughly two months prior to the game’s release, EA Sports has released the first Madden 19 trailer. As one might expect, the game looks awesome, and the trailer features some interesting characters in the game.

In case you weren’t in the know, Hall of Fame wide receiver Terrell Owens will grace the cover of the game, which he announced in classic TO fashion:

Since he’s on the cover, Owens gets some good scenes in the official trailer, which you can view in its entirety here:

This trailer has some really fun, intense moments featuring Cleveland Browns top draft pick and former Heisman winner Baker Mayfield, along with second-overall pick Saquon Barkley.

Mayfield is certain to be one of the most exciting players in the game with his ability to make plays as a passer and runner, and Barkley’s insane athletic ability added into the Giants’ offensive weaponry will make them one of the most popular teams to play with as well.

The trailer’s inclusion of Seattle Seahawks rookie linebacker Shaquem Griffin is one of the coolest parts of this trailer. If you blink, you might miss his awesome standalone shot, so we’ve captured it for you here:

Madden 19 is set to release on August 10 and has promised a significant upgrade with the Real Player Motion feature, which is explained in detail here. The Real Player Motion/Player Locomotion is expected to make gameplay feel more realistic as far as each player’s unique style of play.

Next: Best NFL player from each state

For example, a running back like Derrick Henry will feel different than a back like Dion Lewis based on their traits and specific skills.

Hopefully, this new gameplay will be the significant jump the Madden franchise has desperately been needing.
