7,000-8,000

Alex Noren ($7,900)
Noren was strong early in the season, but faltered with cuts at The Masters and Wells Fargo. However, he’s bounced back with T17 at The Players and two-straight top-25 finishes in Europe most recently. He might be a bit pricey, but he has upside.

Louis Oosthuizen ($7,800)
The South African is hot right now, coming off a T5 at the Fort Worth and a T13 at the Memorial in the last two times he’s played. Couple that with his performance in majors and you have to like the value he brings on DraftKings at this price.

Patrick Cantlay ($7,700)
There’s no perfection in Cantlay’s game, but the 26-year old appears on the verge of breaking out. He last finished outright fourth at the Memorial and has four top-10s and a win this season to his credit. He could put forth a strong effort at Shinnecock Hills.

Webb Simpson ($7,700)
Simpson was dominant at THE PLAYERS, but then was cut two weeks later at the Fort Worth Invitational. It’s hard to put all your faith in him, but the potential for success is most certainly there.

Francesco Molinari ($7,600)
Molinari has won and finished second in his last two outings in Europe, though his PGA Tour play has been inconsistent. Still, his style of play sets him up well to have a strong showing at the U.S. Open this week and he’s good DraftKings value.

Xander Schauffele ($7,500)
Schauffele is coming off two-straight missed cuts after going T2 at THE PLAYERS. However, he makes the list here after a strong showing in his U.S. Open debut last year. Perhaps he can find that form and magic once again this week.

Jimmy Walker ($7,300)
Since The Masters, Walker has been lights-out whenever he’s been on the course. He’s been in the top 20 in all five tournaments, including three showings of T6 or better (he was T2 at THE PLAYERS). If he can sustain that, his price is enticing.

Ian Poulter ($7,300)
Poulter has enjoyed quite a nice season thus far overally, but particularly with a surge of late. He hasn’t missed a cut since early March and has a win and four other top-20 finishes since then — albeit with his last two coming in Europe.

Zach Johnson ($7,100)
Ever the solid player, Johnson has just one missed cut on the year. Having said that, this is definitely just a feeling as his steady play and great putting should serve him well this week at the U.S. Open.

Emiliano Grillo ($7,100)
Grillo is 17-for-17 in made cuts this season, but he comes with major upside to go with his consistency. He has six top-10 finishes to his credit this season and has finished worse than T26 just twice in his last 10 tournaments.

Adam Hadwin ($7,000)
Hadwin has yet to miss a cut this year in 15 tournaments played. And while his finishes haven’t been great as of late with three-straight out of the top 50, his upside has been apparent throughout his young career and he’s a sure bet to see the weekend.

Chesson Hadley ($7,000)
17-of-19 made cuts this season, eight-straight made cuts, five top-10 finishes and six top-20 finishes in his last eight outings should make your eyes draw to Hadley. He could well make a strong showing this week at the year’s second major.
