Here’s how to watch the 2018 NHL Gaming World Championship

It all comes down to this. Six regional finalists square off in this year’s 2018 NHL Gaming World Championship for a chance at the $50,000 grand prize and ultimate bragging rights.

The final stage of the 2018 NHL Gaming World Championship will be held at Esports Arena Las Vegas at Luxor Hotel and Casino, pitting the top EA SPORTS NHL18 players from around the world against one another.

In a round-robin style final, the Final features both the winner and runner-up from the regional tournaments for the U.S., Canada and Europe.

John “JohnWayne90” Casagranda (U.S. winner) and David “JrPens91” Roebuck represent the U.S.; Nicola “FoolX90” Bruna (Canada winner) and Matthew “YungGren” Grenier represent Canada; and  Arttu “Artuzio” Mustila (Europe winner) and Erik “I_Eki_I” Tammenpää represent Europe for the Final, which kicks off June 19 at 4 p.m. ET.

Nicola comes in on a tear; he’ll be hard to beat at this year’s Championship.

Tuesday’s event boasts five ways fans can keep up with the action with the main spot being at Twitch.tv/NHL, where it will be live streamed.

Replays make up the other four viewing options including:

  • NBC Sports: NBCSports.com and the NBC Sports app will premiere the digital broadcast of the 2018 NHL Gaming World Championship Final on Monday, June 25. A one-hour television broadcast will premiere on NBCSN on Thursday, June 28 at 8:00 p.m. ET.
  • Sportsnet: The Final will debut on Sportsnet’s digital platforms on Monday, June 25, with a television premiere on Sportsnet on Tuesday, June 26 beginning at 4:00 p.m. ET.
  • Viasat: The Final will debut on TV3 Sport on Wednesday, June 27 at 2:30 p.m. ET and simultaneously on Viasat’s digital channel, Viaplay.
  • NHL.com: The Final will be available on demand on NHL.com/Gaming on Monday, June 25, with entire episodes on demand.
