The 2018 NBA Finals are over, but what promises to be a wild NBA offseason is only just beginning.

Who’s ready for the Summer of LeBron: Part III?

After the Golden State Warriors swept his Cleveland Cavaliers out of the NBA Finals to win their third championship in four years, LeBron James looms largest over the 2018 offseason.

Regardless of whether he decides to stay in Cleveland or departs for a new franchise, he’ll likely shift the NBA’s power balance and set off a cascading series of dominoes. (Clear your calendars for the first two weeks of July!)

James’ free agency is by no means the only notable storyline worth monitoring over the coming weeks, though.

While Kevin Durant and Chris Paul figure to re-sign with the Warriors and Houston Rockets, respectively, Paul George may be more obtainable. Joining him on the free-agent market will be DeMarcus Cousins, DeAndre Jordan, Clint Capela, Julius Randle and Aaron Gordon, among other notable names.

Could we see another superteam emerge? Former Warriors center Andrew Bogut certainly thinks so.

The NBA draft may be over, but the fun is only just beginning. The following 20 offseason storylines will go a long way toward determining whether anyone will pose a legitimate challenge to Golden State in the 2018-19 season.
