A week removed from the end of the Stanley Cup Final, the NHL has already announced when we can expect to see the full schedule for 2018-19. Check below for dates and times.

One of the best things about the NHL is that the higher-ups know and understand we can’t go too long without real hockey. The Stanley Cup Final is barely beyond its expiration date and here we are clamoring for more.

Well, live game action is still months away, but at least we won’t have to wait long to know the schedule for our favorite clubs. That information is set to be announced next week.

The NHL will kick it off Wednesday, June 20 by revealing every team’s home opener, followed by the full schedule for all 31 clubs on Thursday, June 21. Home openers will be announced at 1:00 p.m. E.T. while the entire schedule will be announced on NHL Network at 5:00 p.m. E.T.

Aside from the classic rivalries we’ll be looking forward to (Penguins/Capitals, Ducks/Kings, Blackhawks/Blues, etc.), we can’t wait for other matchups fueled by recent postseason play. The Nashville Predators and Winnipeg Jets seem destined to battle for the Central Division crown the next few seasons, but the Colorado Avalanche took Nashville to six games and they’re also a team on the rise. Could we see another rivalry brewing there?

How about a regular season rematch of the finals? The Vegas Golden Knights and Washington Capitals put on some of the best playoff hockey this year. They also don’t figure to fade away so quickly.

Personally, I can’t wait to see the

Buffalo Sabres play the Arizona Coyotes

Dallas Stars get some much-needed revenge against everyone. It’s happening, let’s not fight it.
