Life Sentence’s first season looks to be its last, unless another network/streaming service swoops in at the final hour to pick up the show. On tonight’s season 1 / series finale, Stella Abbott’s entire marriage will be at stake as her dream doctor tells her he’s leaving town… And wants her to join him. Will she abruptly end her marriage to Wes and take up the offer?
According to TVByTheNumbers, Life Sentence received a ratings score of 0.38 for last week’s episode. Ratings appear to have continued their linear descent, more or less leveling off between 0.36 to 0.46. Tonight’s series finale is the show’s last chance to turn it around to showcase for another network.
Although the true standout networks will have interest in is actress Lucy Hale. They might just forego the series and get Hale aboard a new project. 7.77 million followers on Twitter is testament to what she brings to any show as a star.

"After Stella (Lucy Hale) puts her and Wes’s (Elliot Knight) life on social media, they find themselves defending their relationship to the world and forcing them to question what the future holds for them. Peter’s (Dylan Walsh) health scare makes him realize who he really wants to be with. Meanwhile, Aiden (Jayson Blair) doesn’t want to give up on his dream of the bar and clamors to find a solution."
Stella asks the doctor infatuated with her why he’s trying to ruin her marriage, when he drops the line on her… He’s leaving and Stella to come along with him. Will the series end with Stella leaving her marriage with Wes and restart her life entirely?
