Belgium face Panama in Group G of the World Cup at the Fisht Stadium on Monday, June 18. Here’s all the info you need to watch.

Belgium open what they hope will be a fruitful World Cup campaign against Panama on Monday. The Belgians enter the tournament as possible contenders possessing a wealth of talent across the field. They were among four unbeaten European teams to qualify for the World Cup and were joint top goal scorers with Germany on 43. With the other favorites not particularly impressing in their opening match, with just a single win shared among the established elite, Belgium manager, Roberto Martinez, will look at their match up against Panama as a chance to lay the gauntlet down and announce that Belgium as a genuine threat.

With a likely top of the table clash against England on the final group game, Belgium need to get off the ground running if they wish to amend the mistakes that their competitors made in other groups.

On paper this game should be a canter for Belgium. Where Belgium were top goal scorers, Panama qualified for the World Cup on a negative one goal difference with no Panama player scoring more than two goals. However, Panama are more than used with competing against the odds, capitalizing on the United States slip ups in qualifying to reach this year finals for the very first time, they will look to take inspiration from fellow CONCAF side Mexico who defeated Germany on Sunday.
