Golden State’s four-game sweep of the Cleveland Cavaliers in the 2018 NBA Finals is a thing of the past. The offseason, a.k.a. the best season is upon us and it all starts with the NBA draft. With all 30 teams focused on the same event, it makes it very likely that discussions between franchises are happening non-stop. Outside of free agency, the draft brings the most roster moves for teams in the offseason. Not only are rookies being selected, but deals are agreed to that send veterans, studs, and future stars to different locations in the blink of an eye.
The 2018 NBA Draft is fast approaching. Thursday night at 7 p.m. EST, a new batch of 60 players will be drafted into the NBA and have lifelong dreams fulfilled. With this added talent, comes all types of talk, leaks, potential trades, and other rumors that run rampant in the lead up to the draft. Filtering through all the noise is hard as things keep popping up left and right every day–seemingly every minute the closer it gets to draft night. With the NBA silencing insiders from reporting selections ahead of their announcements, they’ll seemingly be working overtime to get every piece of information they get out beside which team is taking which player.
