Mo Bamba better than Giannis? Giannis has some thoughts
Giannis Antetokounmpo weighs in on whether or not Orlando Magic draft selection Mo Bamba is better than him.
Giannis Antetokounmpo has burst onto the NBA scene over the last few years as he’s widely regarded as one of the best young players in the league. Whether it’s his unique personality, lovable character or fierce play, there are few reasons not to love the Milwaukee Bucks’ Antetokounmpo.
The Greek Freak has a massive social media presence, including consistent Instagram live appearances. In his most recent video, Antetokounmpo was asked about the newest member of the Orlando Magic, Mo Bamba. He didn’t hold back his thoughts on the youngster, replying “hell no” with a wide smile when asked if Bamba was better than him.
Bamba, taken No. 8 pick in the draft, is seen as one of the most talented incoming rookies. His colorful introductory press conference highlighted the fun year to come for the big man.
At 7-foot-1, Bamba has the potential to dominate opposition. However, Antetokounmpo isn’t ready to crown him before he steps foot on an NBA floor. The Greek Freak claims Bamba will not outwork him, which is why he is ultimately better. Additionally, he lightens up by calling Bamba a talented player and smart kid who will be great for Orlando.
