South Korea and Mexico continue their World Cup Group F play in Russia with a duel in Rostov on June 23. Here’s all the info you need to watch.

Mexico pulled off the upset of the opening round of matches. El Tri took down the defending World Cup champions 1-0 to take charge of Group F. Hirving Lozano scored in the 35th minute, and then the Mexicans held on as Germany gave all their best punches. Guillermo Ochoa made several highlight-reel saves in goal for Mexico as they took three points in Moscow

Mexico held firm, but they also left some goals on the table. Several times, nervous passing caused Mexican players to snuff out their own threats on counterattacks. Had Germany cracked Ochoa’s goal, the match could easily have ended 4-1 Germany. Just as easily, though, Mexico could have won 3-0 or 4-0 with more confident and accurate passing in the final third.

South Korea lost their opener, falling 1-0 to Sweden in Nizhny Novgorod. The Koreans conceded a penalty just after the hour, and Andreas Granqvist stepped up and potted the winner in the 65th minute. After that, South Korea looked incapable of stealing back a point.

South Korea only took five shots total, and failed to put a single shot on target in the loss to Sweden. The Koreans have not won a World Cup match since the opener of the 2010 tournament in South Africa.

At face value, it would appear that Mexico are going to run roughshod over South Korea. But with the number of surprises we have already seen in this tournament, it would be foolish to downplay what might happen in Rostov-on-Don when the CONCACAF champions meet the defending AFC runners-up.

If Germany couldn’t crack the Mexican defense, South Korea are going to have an even harder time breaking through. Guillermo Ochoa is not likely to be tested too heavily in this showdown on Saturday. Even one goal by South Korea would be a surprise, so Ochoa is a good bet to get the clean sheet.

But Mexico need to clean up their passing in the attacking third of the pitch, especially when they find themselves in 2-on-1 or 3-on-2 situations, if they actually want to walk away with the full three points and secure passage to the next round. Look for Lozano and Chicharito to challenge South Korean goalkeeper Cho Hyun-woo throughout Saturday’s concluding match, and the rest of the Mexican team will get in on the attack as well.

A win would guarantee Mexico a spot in the Round of 16 for the seventh straight tournament. And Mexico is going to maintain the momentum from its previous matchup against Germany to take down South Korea by at least two goals. Watch out for another man-made temblor in the Mexican capital for the second straight weekend.
