Okay, maybe not every TV show, but we tell you where and when you can find Junior on TV on Wednesday as he promotes his big debut this weekend.

You may have heard this already, but Dale Earnhardt Jr. is about to become a sports broadcaster. We kid, because of course you knew. But the time has almost arrived for Junior’s debut as a member of the NASCAR on NBC team this weekend at Chicagoland, and the network wants to make sure you don’t forget that.

To that end, Earnhardt Jr. is taking a TV tour of sorts on Wednesday, appearing on multiple shows on the NBC family of channels.

Here’s where you’ll be able to see him:

  • On Megyn Kelly TODAY, which is the 9:00 a.m. ET hour of the overall TODAY block.
  • As a guest on The Dan Patrick Show, simulcast on NBCSN from 9:00 a.m. to noon.
  • On E! News, though we’re not sure exactly when.
  • And finally. on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, which begins at 11:35 p.m. on your NBC affiliate of choice.

It’s interesting because there’s a limit to what Earnhardt can say given that he hasn’t actually started his new job yet in earnest. NBC Sports has trotted him out at the Olympics and during the Stanley Cup Final, and he’s done some practice race broadcasts to get his feet wet as an analyst.

But as far as whether being a commentator is fulfilling, whether it’s harder than he expected or if he’s having fun with it, he won’t be able to say for sure until after Chicagoland. What we’re saying is not to expect anything too profound from Junior on this whirlwind tour, which is simply showing him off to the world. The real show begins this Sunday for the Overton’s 400 on NBCSN, the rare race at this particular track that you definitely don’t want to miss.
