New York Yankees: Clint Frazier

In 2017, the New York Yankees were supposed to be a year away from being a serious World Series contender. With a bunch of youngster on the roster, they were expected to be good, but not great, but they seriously outplayed the expectations, making it to Game 7 of the American League Championship Series.

Players like Gary Sanchez, Aaron Judge, and Didi Gregorius put up monster numbers for the Yankees in 2017, and after bringing in National League MVP Giancarlo Stanton this offseason, the expectations were through the roof for 2018. They have certainly lived up to expectations, as they are one of the best teams in the league, and it appears they are only going to get better.

Not only are the Yankees stacked at the Major League level, but they also have some of the best prospects in baseball. One of those prospects is Clint Frazier, who would easily be a top-3 prospect in any organization in Major League Baseball. He is a Major League-ready player, and the Yankees should trade him for pitching.

The Yankees pitching staff, specifically the starting rotation, needs some arms, as it can be shaky outside of ace Luis Severino. C.C. Sabathia, Sonny Gray, and Masahiro Tanaka have struggled to pitch consistently this season, and you have to be weary as to who would start Game 2 if the playoffs started tomorrow.

Frazier is considered by many to be a five-tool player, and general manager Brian Cashman really likes him. It would take a nice return to trade him away, and the hope for Yankees fans is that if they do get rid of Frazier, they can get a solid starter in return.
