Chicago Cubs: Tommy La Stella

The Chicago Cubs currently find themselves a couple of games back in the NL Central, where the Milwaukee Brewers sit in  first place. The Brewers made a couple of huge signings this past offseason, bringing in guys like Christian Yelich and Lorenzo Cain, both of whom are playing big roles for the team.

When it comes to the Cubs, they have the staying power to be in this race for the rest of the season. In fact, many believe they are the best total roster in the division, and once they get healthy, they should make a serious run towards the division title.

The Cubs roster is loaded at nearly every position, and they even have some part-time players who could really be used to bring back some missing pieces. One of those players is Tommy La Stella, who is an incredibly talented left-handed bat off the bench.

La Stella is a guy who could help any team in a pennant race, as he seems unfazed with the fact that he does not play every day. He is the kind of kid who can put his head down and take advantage of the opportunities, which is a very hard thing to do at the Major League level.

Chicago has a couple areas that need improvement, including in the pitching rotation. Yu Darvish is still on the disabled list, leaving a big hole in the front of the rotation, and La Stella could be packaged in a deal to get them an arm if Darvish continues to sit.
