New Japan Pro Wrestling returns to the U.S. for G1 Special in San Francisco, and we tell you how to make sure you are watching live.

The second-biggest professional wrestling promotion in the world may also be the hottest. New Japan Pro Wrestling has arguably never been as popular with U.S. fans as it is right now, which makes the timing of its latest show in the States, G1 Special in San Francisco, perfect.

The events of Dominion 6.9 in June have shaken up the NJPW status quo, a fact that is reflected in the G1 Special in San Francisco. Namely, the Rainmaker himself, Kazuchika Okada, finds himself in a non-title match after losing his IWGP Heavyweight Championship, a belt he had successfully defended a record 12 times, to Kenny Omega at Dominion. Okada will team with fellow Chaos member Will Ospreay to face Tetsuya Naito and Bushi of Los Ingobernables de Japon.

Omega, meanwhile, will defend his new gold for the first time against Cody in what may also be a de facto battle for leadership of Bullet Club. That match should also be the night’s main event, though there are five title bouts among the nine scheduled matches.

The show kicks off from the Cow Palace in the San Francisco suburbs at 8:00 p.m. ET and will be broadcast live on AXS TV in the U.S. Here’s all the information you need to watch live:
