Buffalo Bills running back LeSean McCoy has responded to allegations of abuse that surfaced on Tuesday.

LeSean McCoy has publically denied an allegation of domestic abuse that was brought against him in an Instagram post on Tuesday.

The image posted shows an unidentified woman with cuts and swelling to her face, laying seemingly unconscious in a hospital bed. As of now, there’s no verification that the person in the photo consented to its release. There’s also no verification of exactly who is in the photo.

Allegations against McCoy extend beyond domestic abuse against the victim in the photo. According to the caption accompanying the photo, allegations of child abuse and animal cruelty are mentioned, as well as an allegation of steroid use.

McCoy responded on his personal Instagram account denying any involvement. He also states that he hasn’t had any contact with anyone involved with the photos or the post.

According to Dianna Russini, the Bills are aware of the situation but no other information beyond that is known at this time.

Neither the Buffalo Bills nor the NFL have issued public statements about the allegations. Both are expected to eventually release something before the day is over.
