Belgium face England in the World Cup third-place playoff on Saturday, July 14. Here’s all the info you need to watch the match.

England and Belgium reluctantly meet on Saturday to play out the third place play off game having lost their semi final matches to Croatia and France respectively. Both sides have already met in the group stages of this game, where a rotated England side lost 1-0.

Should Belgium achieve a similar result of Saturday it will be their highest ever finish at a World Cup and just the second time they have placed in the competition since 1986 when they finished fourth having lost the play off to Tuesday semi final opponents, France.

Should England prevail, it will be their second highest finish at a World Cup outside of winning the tournament on home turf in 1966. England last contested a game at this stage in 1990, where they lost to Italy. Gareth Southgate men have made an unexpected and impressive run in the competition so far, however, they are yet to be beat a top tier nation and will be eager to get one over their Belgian opponents.

Roberto Martinez will be eager to return back to Belgium with the best possible finish after a campaign that had seemed so promising after their surprise quarter final win over Brazil.
