American Ninja Warrior’s exciting tenth anniversary season continues on NBC tonight starting at 8 p.m. ET with the L.A. City Finals. The show will air two episodes tonight with two full hours of American Ninja Warrior action! According to TVByTheNumbers, American Ninja Warrior’s last episode scored an impressive 5 million viewer rating, up from the prior two episodes. Casual viewers are clearly back to tuning in to the competition series on its new Monday night airtime.

American Ninja Warrior was nominated for a 2018 Emmy for Outstanding Reality-Competition Program last week. The franchise has much life ahead of it, going into a tenth season hasn’t stifled its locomotive push to the top of reality competition programs. It’s safe to say an eleventh season is on the way with a potential Emmy, no sign of slowing down ratings wise, and an appealing demographic.

Tonight’s episode will feature the L.A. City Finals, always a pivotal chapter for the show. Last year’s L.A. City Finals episode aired on July 24 and scored a 5.70 viewer rating. There’s a linear ratings progression upwards so it’s probable American Nina Warrior will again see a similar viewer count. The promo for tonight’s Finals has the quote, “No matter what happens, you regroup, and you give it your best shot,” and “You can’t accept failure, you wanna win.” The stakes are as high as ever and so is the level of the competition.

The promo ends with “The ultimate goal is total victory, I won’t be satisfied with anything less.” American Ninja Warriors are not just out there to bask in the moment but go for glory and obtain the win.
