SEC Media Days 2018: Day 1 live stream and schedule
Day 1 of SEC Media Days will arrive Monday. A look at how to watch online, and view the full schedule for it.
After a lengthy offseason, college football will start to prep for its 2018 season. While games are still over one month away, the first comments and soundbites of the upcoming campaign will begin soon, and it starts with SEC Media Days. This is the multi-day event where SEC head coaches speak to the media on their teams and what to expect.
The first media day takes place on Monday, July 16, and will feature three head coaches. Who will take the podium and at what time? Let’s take a look:
- Jimbo Fisher, Texas A&M — 11:30 a.m. – 3:30 p.m. ET — Fisher bolted Florida State for a lucrative 10-year deal to become the Texas A&M head coach. The former national title winner will dive into the trenches of the SEC and speak on his first experience helming a team from this conference.
- Ed Orgeron, LSU — 2:00 p.m. – 6:30 p.m. ET — After a 9-4 season, Orgeron will return to lead the LSU Tigers and try to contend with the powerhouses of the conference. The Tigers could be faced with a challenging season but expect Orgeron to paint a positive outlook for LSU.
- Mark Stoops, Kentucky — 2:00 – 6:30 p.m. ET — Stoops took the Wildcats to another 7-6 season. He will potentially enter 2018 with higher expectations, to increase the team’s win total, especially after signing a contract extension through 2022.
