Wide Receiver. . Laquon Treadwell. . team. 60.

During the 2017 NFL season, the Minnesota Vikings were by far one of the best teams in all of football. In fact, the Case Keenum-led Vikings made it all the way to the NFC Championship Game, where they eventually saw their season end against the Philadelphia Eagles. Had they won, they would have had a home Super Bowl, as it was played in U.S. Bank Stadium.

This offseason, Keenum signed on to be the starting quarterback for the Denver Broncos, which meant the Vikings had to find someone  to come in and play the position. They found their man in Kirk Cousins, who has had some stellar seasons with the Washington Redskins, but was never committed to in the long-term.

Cousins has a bunch of weapons to throw to this season in Minnesota, including guys like Stefon Diggs and Adam Thielen. Both of those players have the game-breaking ability to make big plays happen, but it could be the third option in the passing game at wide receiver that really stands out this upcoming season.

That man is Laquon Treadwell, who suffered a horrific broken ankle against Auburn back in 2014, came back in a big way for Ole Miss in 2016, hauling in over 80 passes for 1,153 yards. In his rookie season with Minnesota, Treadwell caught only one pass in his nine appearance, but saw his numbers improve in year two last season.

Treadwell is only scratching the surface of his talent, and on such an explosive offense, he could find himself getting closer to 60 or so passes in 2018. He has the ability to take the lid off the defense at any time, and with Cousins liking to throw the long ball, he should have more than enough opportunities for big plays this Fall.
