There are a number of NFL betting options out there to take advantage of. Here are 5 win total over/under wagers you should be making.

Sports gambling is exploding in America and it’s time for you to get in on the action. One of the most interesting wagers to make is to bet on an NFL franchise’s win total for the upcoming season. There’s some solid value on over/unders that you can take advantage of if you act quickly.

The good news for you is that we’re here to help. We’ve highlighted five wagers that provide a real opportunity to beat the house this season. Nothing’s set in stone in the NFL, but the odds are leaning in your favor in each of these five situations. We start by identifying an NFC South team that is slightly undervalued.

5. Atlanta Falcons: 9 wins — Over

Oddshark set the line for Atlanta at nine wins and the over bet comes in at -130.

That tells you the early action favors the Falcons on this one and that’s the right play. The NFC South is going to be a really rugged division, but this team has legitimate Super Bowl talent. If Matt Ryan and Julio Jones both stay healthy there’s no reason to think the offense can’t power the Falcons to a double-digit win total.

The only concern here is whether or not the Atlanta defense can put enough pressure on the opposing quarterback to hold up their end of the bargain. That might be the difference between 11 and 13 wins for this team. It won’t really hinder their ability to hit the 10-win plateau.

The odds on this bet won’t help you get rich, but it’s a really solid play for beginners. 9-7 would be considered a real failure in Atlanta this season. Ten seems like the median outcome for wins which makes over the right way to go here.
