Here’s the breakdown of the prize money at the 2018 edition of the PGA Championship from Bellerive Country Club.

For the final time, the PGA Championship will be the final major championship on the golf calendar and there’s plenty at stake at Bellerive Country Club in suburban St. Louis this week. Of course, there’s always the prestige that comes with being a major champion but let’s certainly not forget that the winner takes home a pretty hefty check.

The only major championship not to increase its purse this season, the PGA Championship is once again set to hand out $10.5 million in prize money to the top 70 and ties that make the cut from the 156-man field. The winner will take home a cool $1.89 million (18 percent of the total purse …18, get it?) and second place doesn’t look so bad either at $1.134 million.

There’s a plethora of fantastic storylines out there with a large number of players that could realistically take home that big check at the end of play on Sunday afternoon. World number one Dustin Johnson is playing fantastic golf right now and world number two and defending champion Justin Thomas is coming off a big win this past weekend at the WGC-Bridgestone Invitational. Open Championship winner Francesco Molinari may be the hottest golfer in the world right now and Rory McIlroy looks like he’s very close to the form that won him four major championships.

Or is it finally Rickie Fowler’s turn to win a major? Could Tiger Woods or Phil Mickelson find some of that old magic? However it plays out, it’s going to be a great week in St. Louis. Here’s the full breakdown of the prize money at the 100th PGA Championship.
