Following a marathon Saturday at Bellerive Country Club see which top competitors were cut, who has ground to make up and who is in the lead heading into Sunday at the PGA Championship?

After a late afternoon storm delayed play Friday, Saturday brought nearly a round and a half to many competitors at the 100th PGA Championship. Former major champions Phil Mickelson, Sergio Garcia and Bubba Watson failed to make the cut of even par early on Saturday. Meanwhile around Bellerive Country Club a group of experienced contenders navigated around the course with low scores and the top of the leaderboard narrowed in their sights.

With only 18 holes left to play the third major championship in what would be four professional victories in within reach for Brooks Koepka. The reigning back-to-back U.S. Open champion went low once again with a 4-under round of 66. Koepka will ride into Sunday with a two-stroke lead followed closely by Australia’s Adam Scott who leaped into contention with second and third rounds of 65.

Here are the top five (and ties), in addition to other notables, from the full leaderboard following the third round of the 2018 PGA Championship.

1. Brooks Koepka -12
2. Adam Scott -10
T3. Jon Rahm -9
T3. Rickie Fowler -9
T3. Gary Woodland -9

T6. Tiger Woods -8
T6. Jason Day -6
T6. Justin Thomas -6
T21. Dustin Johnson -5
T28. Jordan Spieth -4
T36. Zach Johnson -3
T45. Rory McIlroy -2
T45. Tommy Fleetwood -2
T57. Tony Finau -1

Without a shadow of a doubt the round of the day belonged to another surging Saturday by Tiger Woods. Prior to the rain delay on Friday Woods was in full control of his game. The second round finished steady and patient for the four-time PGA Champion before he turned on the classic Tiger highlights.

The birdies weren’t certainly falling for Woods early in his third round but it was his scrambling and par saves on the back nine that kept him within striking range of the lead. Woods is right in the thick of things with the likes of Rickie Fowler and defending champion Justin Thomas. The only question now is will anyone be able to catch Koepka come Sunday?
