Here’s how you can watch Ballers season 4 premiere starring Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson online or the old-fashioned way right on your television.

HBO’s Ballers returns tonight with its season 4 premiere airing at 10:00 p.m. ET. You can catch a live stream of the episode with HBO Now, Amazon (HBO Channel subscription), Direct TV, or post-episode on HBO Go.

Ballers moves to sunny California for season 4, with creator/executive producer Stephen Levinson and executive producer Rob Weiss writing the plot for the first three episodes. Director Julian Farino similarly returns to direct the first three episodes of season 4, and last directed the final two episodes of season 3. Speaking of season 3, the show’s ratings unexpectedly dived noticeably on episode 7 last season going from a 2.85 to 0.99 according to Show Buzz Daily. Losing Game of Thrones as a lead-in cost the series a massive amount of their viewership. This time around, Ballers will have new series Sharp Edges as its lead-in.

Cast member London Brown (Reggie) recently told Digital Journal’s Markos Papadatos, what it’s like working on the series and how a major reason for its success is Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson.

"Working on the show has been great. The cast has a good chemistry off set. So, working together on set makes it easy. A major reason for this is because of Dwayne [Johnson]. He has such a solid focused attitude, the rest of us naturally share the same vibe, which in return creates a well-oiled machine and series."

“Rough Ride” episode description:

"Spencer and Joe weigh the pros and cons of acquiring an extreme-sport agency; Ricky sets down roots in Los Angeles, but finds himself yearning for something else; Charles rallies a group of disgruntled employees as he begins his tenure with the Rams."

In the trailer for tonight’s episode, “Rough Ride,” Spencer is told he doesn’t really seem like the action sports guy type. Spencer replies “Because I’m not. But I do like making money.”
