3. Antonio Callaway, WR, Cleveland Browns

ADP: Undrafted

Browns wide receiver Antonio Callaway has a few things to overcome.

The first is seemingly over and done with, though—his marijuana citation. According to Nate Ulrich of the Akron Beacon Journal, the Browns believe Callaway’s story that the marijuana was not his.

Even after this news came out, Callaway played in Week 1’s preseason game and saw seven targets.

However, a speculated acquisition could halt his progress and place with the team. According to Dez Bryant himself, he’ll be visiting the Browns and “Mr. Dorsey” next week.

If the Browns bring in Bryant, that will give them Josh Gordon, Jarvis Landry, Rashard Higgins, Callaway and Bryant.

Assuming Gordon comes back from his hiatus in time for Week 1, it will probably be Gordon, Bryant and Landry starting, which will immediately hinder Callaway’s value.

Callaway showed he had chemistry with quarterback Baker Mayfield on a number of occasions, including his long touchdown.

With that said, Callaway did show some drop issues, which he will need to clean up.

The light at the end of that tunnel, though, is that Mayfield kept going back to him despite it.

If Bryant doesn’t land with the Browns and Mayfield starts games for the team, Callaway’s value will go up immediately.

This, like Josh Allen, is a waiting game.

In the right situation, Callaway could be a solid flex play.
