2. Michael Gallup, WR, Dallas Cowboys

ADP: 13.12; WR61

Another rookie wide receiver we should be excited for is Michael Gallup of the Cowboys.

His situation, however, is much more promising than Antonio Callaway’s.

Gallup saw just three targets against the San Francisco 49ers, but he caught one of them for a long, 30-yard touchdown.

The Cowboys are really looking for a No. 1 option with Dez Bryant out of the fold. And Jason Witten, too. Besides Gallup, the Cowboys only have Allen Hurns at wide receiver.

What’s even more important is that Gallup’s touchdown came with Dak Prescott throwing him the football.

Guys like Danny Amendola, Tyler Lockett, Martavis Bryant, Kenny Golladay, Geronimo Allison and Anthony Miller are going before Gallup.

He’s currently the WR61 for crying out loud. That’s just ludicrous—and the list goes is not limited to just those guys.

Prescott threw the ball 490 times last season. Sure, they can give running back Ezekiel Elliott more carries and even targets, but the rest need to go to Gallup, Hurns, Terrance Williams, and Geoff Swain.

So yeah, if Gallup saw 90 or more targets it wouldn’t surprise me at all.

Draft Gallup. Now.
