Top 10 fantasy quarterbacks for 2018
By Grant Tuttle
No. 2 – Russell Wilson, Seattle Seahawks
The Seattle Seahawks are in the middle of a big transition. The team has parted ways with long time players on defense and there is a lot of uncertainty within the organization. However, there is one thing that the team can be certain about: Russell Wilson. Wilson dominated fantasy football last season and led the team to a 10-5 record. The Seahawks final record was a bit deceiving, but Wilson’s impact cannot be overstated.
He carried the team on his back for the majority of the season. Wilson seemed to escape constant pressure and make incredible throws on the run all year. He will likely carry the team just as much, if not more this season. The team added wide receiver Brandon Marshall this offseason to be another possession receiver over the middle.
If Wilson can come anywhere close to his rushing total from last season of 586 yards and three touchdowns, he will be the top fantasy quarterback. It is not impossible that Wilson slips into the top spot. Nonetheless, he is set up to have a successful 2018 fantasy campaign.

No. 1. Aaron Rodgers, Green Bay Packers
Who else but Aaron Rodgers? Even though the Packers let Rodger’s favorite target Jordy Nelson go this offseason, the team is still primed for a big year on offense. Although the team lost Nelson, the Packers signed tight end Jimmy Graham. Rodgers was injured for the majority of the 2017 season, but if you look to the 2016 season for reference, he was unbelievable, throwing 40 touchdown passes.
Although Rodgers is not necessarily dual threat, he is athletic enough to make throws on the run in a very pass-heavy offense. The Packers will likely be more effective in the Red Zone and will stretch the field better than they were able to last season with Rodgers on the sideline. Look for Aaron Rodgers to come close to the same fantasy point total that he tallied up in 2016.
