Fantasy- 32 Teams in 32 Days: The Minnesota Vikings
By Matt Mikolas
Fantasy Football Off-Season Overview – Minnesota Vikings
The Minnesota Vikings should have one of the best fantasy offenses in 2018.
There’s only one reason I say SHOULD instead of WILL and that’s only because we haven’t yet seen what QB Kirk Cousins looks like in Vikings purple.

Adam Thielen was a top 5 receiver last year, Stefon Diggs is hot on his heels as a young up-and-comer, Kyle Rudolph is a solid tight end, and a healthy Dalvin Cook looks to pick up right where he left off last year.
Obviously, quarterback is the biggest change. Already a high-flying offense, the Vikings could reach even new heights with the addition of Kirk Cousins. These playmakers made Case Freaking Keenum look good. Imagine what they can do with an actual good quarterback.
Oh yeah, and the Vikings have a top 5 defense, too.
Just in case you forgot.
Minnesota not only comes in as a heavy favorite to win the NFC, they’ve got great fantasy contributors all over the place.
I Gotta Get Me One of Those!
Do I have to pick just one?
Tell you what … I’m going to cheat. The answer is: Vikings Wide Receivers.
Dynasty: I’m going to tell you the wide receiver to go after for a dynasty league is Stefon Diggs. The upside on Diggs is MASSIVE. Adam Thielen is on a sweetheart of a deal, and could be on his way out of town when that becomes an issue. Diggs is younger, and has a world of time to build a rapport with Cousins. For the long-haul, Diggs is the guy to own.
Redraft: How can I pick against Adam Thielen? He sucks up targets, and while he doesn’t score as many touchdowns as would be ideal, Thielen is a yardage machine, and could thrive in just about any offense. He was extremely effective with a marginal quarterback. He should be very effective with a good one.
Buyer Beware
Uhhhhhh…
Stay Woke
It’s hard to get sneaky with these guys. It’s well-known that they’re good. The defense might slip depending on your league rules, so watch for that. Maybe because of his injury, and the emergence of RBs like Kareem Hunt and Todd Gurley last season, you might see Dalvin Cook slide a little bit on draft day. Just watch for it, and see if you can snag him in the late 2nd or early 3rd round. Just depends on if the rest of your league is sleeping. (See? Stay Woke!)
