6. Nick Chubb, Cleveland Browns
The Browns seem prepared to deploy a three-headed attack the the running back spot. Veteran Carlos Hyde will the the first crack of being the early-down back with Duke Johnson getting the passing down work.
Hyde has had some success in the league, but has been plagued by injuries and inconsistency. The San Francisco 49ers didnāt make much of an effort to retain his services.
This creates a great opportunity for rookie Nick Chubb to eventually earn a large chuck of touches. Chubb is a downhill runner who can quickly get through the open hole. His vision helps him locate running lanes and attack.
He is also a solid pass catcher who can provide a reliable target. Johnson will be the main pass-catching back, but Chubb can factor in some in this area.
Clevelandās overall offensive makeup looks to be trending upwards. Todd Haley is on board at offensive coordinator having weapons like Josh Gordon, Jarvis Landry and David Njoku at his disposal.
Tyrod Taylor is a veteran quarterback who will keep defenses from stacking the box. It may take a couple of weeks, but thereās a strong chance Chubb is a major fantasy force by midseason.
