4. Harry Kane finally scores in August

Harry Kane is one of the best strikers in the world right now. He’s had some ridiculous seasons in the Premier League and he’s just fresh from winning the Golden Boot at this year’s World Cup in Russia.

The sky is the limit for Kane and if Tottenham do ever sell him he’ll command a ridiculous transfer fee. However, there’s one thing that Harry Kane hasn’t managed in his short-but-impressive career thus far — to score a Premier League goal in August.

This weekend, Kane has a great opportunity to put that stat to bed as Tottenham welcome newly-promoted Fulham to Wembley. Spurs are not yet ready to play games at their new stadium and will make a brief return to the national stadium until their new home is ready.

Harry Kane very rarely goes more than a game without a goal and some games it’s rare just to see him only get one. That’s bad new for Fulham fans as they know the England striker and captain will be desperate to get off the mark.

His nemesis from last season, Mo Salah, got a goal last week and that should fuel Kane’s fire to get on the scoresheet this weekend. However, one of the Englishman’s best attribute is his unselfishness.

He scores a lot of goals but he could score many more if he wasn’t such a hardworking team player. Expect Harry Kane to register his first Premier League goals of the 2018-19 season this weekend.
