In the second week of a full-fledged NFL preseason schedule, the Tenessee Titans will play host to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

Three seasons after quarterbacks Jameis Winston and Marcus Mariota went first and second overall in the draft, their drafting teams — the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and Tennessee Titans — face off in Week 2 of the NFL preseason.

There is only so much to be made of preseason matchups, of course. In this second week of action, however, fans will get to see (most of) the starters from both teams play at least a couple of series. They are just getting their feet wet, but it is football nonetheless, right?

TV: WFLA-8 (Tampa Bay) and WKRN-News 2 (Nashville)

Radio: WDAE 620 AM (Tampa Bay) and 104.5 FM (Tennessee)

Time:  8 p.m. ET

Venue: Nissan Stadium

Stream: NFL GamePass (subscription required) or FuboTV (free trial)

Both of these teams seem to be heading in different directions. After a disappointing 5-11 season, Tampa Bay will now have to start its 2018 regular season off without Winston. Winston will miss the first three games after an off-the-field issue.

Tennessee, on the other hand, appeared in the divisional round of the playoffs last season and made some positive changes over the summer — the biggest being the head coach swap of Mike Mularkey for Mike Vrabel.

Mariota has a healthy set of weapons, with Derrick Henry and Dion Lewis in the backfield, Delanie Walker at tight end, and Rishard Matthews, Taywan Taylor, and Corey Davis at wide receiver. In these preseason games, the development of the offense will be important to key in on.

For the Buccaneers, who takes the lead as the starting running back will be the focus. Right now, Peyton Barber is leading rookie Ronald Jones.

Again, in Week 2 of the preseason, there is only so much to expect. But perhaps some of these tight position battles will start to show some separation.
