Burnley will be looking to capture their first win of the new Premier League season on Sunday. They could only manage a 0-0 draw against Southampton to open the season. Burnley were one of the bigger surprises in the Premier League last season, finishing in seventh. That finish earned them the right to play for qualification into the Europa League, the first time they will compete on the continental stage in over half a century. Major acquisitions for the Clarets include former Manchester City and England goalkeeper Joe Hart, as well as Czech striker Matej Vydra, formerly of Derby County.

Watford will try to build on their successful season opener, a 2-0 win against Brighton. Roberto Pereya scored two great goals to lead the Hornets to the win, and both were assisted by Jose Holebas. Watford finished 14th in the league last season, but seemed to have improved, if only marginally. They did lose exciting Brazilian winger Richarlison, but added former Barcelona forward Gerard Deulofeu.

This game should be an evenly matched affair between both sides, with Watford being more likely to win — if they can overcome a recent run of poor form away from home. Watford have lost their last 13 away games in the Premier League, a figure they will need to improve if they intend to finish higher than 14th in 2018-19.
