The Longhorn Network is the exclusive home of Texas Longhorn sports and the place to watch the 2018 football season. How can viewers watch it on DirecTV, Comcast and Time Warner?

Since its debut in 2011, the Longhorn Network has become the place to follow the Texas Longhorns. Whether it’s baseball, basketball, football or another sport, those with a passionate following on the Burnt Orange get all they can handle with this ESPN-created network.

For the next four months, Texas fans will use the Longhorn Network to watch the 2018 season, featuring the second season with Tom Herman as the head coach and a potential rise in the Big 12 standings.

Those with DirecTV, Comcast and Time Warner will want to know how they can watch the Longhorns play this fall. Here are the channels for the aforementioned networks:

  • DirecTV: 677
  • Comcast: N/A
  • Time Warner: 383

DirecTV and Time Warner offer the Longhorn Network, but Comcast does not, meaning those with a cable subscription must look for the home of Texas sports elsewhere. Whether that’s DirecTV, Time Warner or a legal way to stream it, there are alternatives for anyone that can’t miss the 2018 football season.

Those with the Longhorn Network will receive access to games under Herman, in his second year after taking over before the 2017 campaign. He led Texas to a 7-6 record, including a win in the Texas Bowl against Missouri.

The Longhorns lost pieces of their team to the NFL, including offensive lineman Connor Williams and running back Chris Warren III. However, the quarterback competition returns, with Shane Buechele and Sam Ehlinger set to duel for snaps at the signal-caller position.

This group must find its way through a Big 12 that may look different at the top, with Oklahoma’s Baker Mayfield and Oklahoma State’s Mason Rudolph also in the NFL. Does that mean an opening for Herman’s bunch?

Texas fans can view the action on the Longhorn Network throughout the 2018 season. How far will this team go? How far will you go to watch this network and be updated on the action?
